Organic stockfeed is animal feed made from certified organic ingredients that are free from synthetic chemicals, GMOs, artificial additives, and medications. It meets stringent organic certification standards, such as relying on crop rotation, natural soil health, and regenerative farming methods. Regular audits ensure the entire supply chain follows sustainable, natural farming practices.

This results in high-quality, nutrient-dense feed that supports animal health, promotes ethical farming, and contributes to environmental sustainability. Organic stockfeed is a great choice for farmers looking to maintain healthy, thriving livestock while adhering to eco-friendly practices.

Organic stockfeed costs more due to the extra care, resources, and compliance required at every step. Organic farmers use natural methods instead of synthetic chemicals, which leads to lower yields and higher production costs. The organic industry is smaller, and with limited seasonal availability of organic grains, sourcing can be more challenging.

In short, we’re committed to doing things the right way, every step of the way. It might not be the cheapest, but we believe it’s the better option—healthier, more sustainable, and made with integrity. Organic stockfeed delivers premium, nutrient-rich feed that supports animal health and sustainable farming practices.

The choice between pellets, mash, or crumble depends on your chickens’ age, stage, and feeding purpose:

Pellets are preferred for less waste and mess, making them ideal for adult chickens (typically 18 weeks and older) and laying hens. They’re compact and efficient, but some chickens may take a little time to adjust.

Mash is best for chicks and older chickens, offering a finer texture but can be more wasteful and messier.

Crumble is a good middle ground for growing chickens, typically used from chick to point-of-lay age (around 6 to 18 weeks). It’s easier to eat than pellets but less messy than mash.

Ultimately, the choice is personal—consider your chickens’ needs and preferences when selecting the right form. If you’re still unsure, feel free to get in touch!

No. Eggs and meat are gluten free and there is no known scientific evidence that chickens somehow “pass” gluten into their eggs or meat from feed, science shows that allergens within animal feeds are broken down during digestion.
No. Protein fractions from soy are broken down during the digestive process and have not been measured as transferring to the egg or meat of the chicken. We do provide Soy Free rations for the comfort and safety of those handling feed who have soy intolerances or allergies.

Our grain is sourced primarily from the rich farmlands of the Darling Downs in Queensland, known for its fertile soils and ideal growing conditions. All of our grain is certified organic, ensuring the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
A key part of producing organic stockfeed lies in sourcing the best raw ingredients, which can vary seasonally and are based on certified organic availability. However, no matter the changes in the components, we ensure that every ration maintains the integrity of its feed analysis, delivering the necessary nutrients to your flock or livestock with consistent quality.
Typically, we utilise, Wheat, Braley, Sorghum, Maise and Millet, however all rations are subject to seasonal and organic availability, ingredients may fluctuate but will remain true to the nutritional analysis for the ration and certified organic standards.
Our stockfeed combines the right balance of protein, fibre, minerals, oils, and amino acids, tailored to the specific needs of your poultry or livestock. We blend meals, grains, pulses, and beans, carefully selected based on seasonal and certified organic availability, to meet the desired nutritional profile. Regular audits ensure that we maintain certified organic standards from raw ingredients to finished stockfeed.
For orders over 1 tonne, we are happy to discuss the possibility of a custom ration tailored to your specific farming needs and goals. Our range is comprehensive and you might find exactly what you are looking for in our standard range which is often the most cost-effective solution to your stockfeed needs, however, we are invested in ensuring the best possible outcomes and if you feel it might benefit your operation, we look forward to your enquiry about whether your farm could benefit from a custom ration.
